Rain Filled Sky

SOLD
Rain Filled Sky
16cm x 16cm. 6.3in x 6.3in.
Watercolour

“Down by the “military beach” blocks of concrete lie among the dune grasses, left over from another time. They are slowly being coloured with salt hardy lichens in greys and oranges. Briefly the sun highlights the man made structures while the sky brews up another rain storm.”

Very striking - I love those pale acid yellow grounds against dark purple blue skies - I have one which is still lodged in my head from driving through the Lake District once. I never ever get tired of seeing work like this.
