Another windowsill still life. I like the comparison of the tiny new flower, just bloomed, with the old chipped terracotta flowerpots. I also love these early flowers with their exquisite and intoxicating perfumes, essence of springtime. Breathe it in; breathe deeply on a cold winter morning.

WOW Sold already! I'm not surprised at all!! This is such a wonderful painting, I love the contrasts and the spot of color the daffodil provides. Excellent work on the old terra cotta pots. Now I'm longing for spring!
