Sea Pinks, Cote Sauvage

Sea Pinks, Cote Sauvage
120cm x 40 cm. 47 in x 16in.
Oil on canvas.

The Cote Sauvage offers up its bitten coastline to the harsh attention of the sea, sea pinks shudder and cling to the short coarse grasses of the cliff tops and we lean into the salt laden wind.
This is a place where I love to go and draw. Pinioned against the cliff face by the wind, surf splattering my sketchbook, it makes me feel so very alive.
