SOLDSunday Morning. (not part of the 100 paintings project)
Sunday morning in a friend’s kitchen. She has been cleaning as we are all having Sunday lunch together. The fruit has been taken out of the glass bowl so that it could be washed. Lunch is cooking slow and fragrant in the oven, sunlight is flooding into the dark kitchen through the flowers in a vase by the window, skimming the apples lined up on the newly scrubbed table and filling the room with the slow dance of Sunday morning.

It's a lovely painting!
WOW! the reflection on the table to the right of the blue bowl is simply stunning. What a great painting. Ginny
This is one of your best. Love it.
Sarah, this is a gorgeous painting! Ever have a painting just grab you and you knew you must have it? Well, this one is that one for me. NO doubt. Good luck with the exhibition! I KNOW it will do well.
I really love the feel of this painting ... to me it has a sense of old world, rich woods, hard work, gardens, a well set table and good friends.
A Special one!
I have an identical blue bowl and you have caught the light through the glass, and on the apples, perfectly.
Good luck!
Jacqui
I think this is great!!! I love the colors on the table..

well, as you know by now, I am a total sucker for your paintings that show that indoor-looking-out thing, i just love the quality of the light you capture, well done, it should be a winner!
You've captured the light just exquisitely in this one... Magical!
A wonderful piece of work. The sunlight reflecting through the blue bowl is wonderful. The apples look real enough to eat. The background walls seem a little too dark but this is simply my unprofessional eye at work. Good luck at the exhibition. Tracey
Knowing the "friend", I can't believe she was cleaning, and on a Sunday morning too!! Tell her I said that!!!
Beautiful!!! And it brings back memories of my father's old house in eastern France.
Sarah, it's a beautiful painting and reminds me of either Joanna Trollope or Rosamund Pilcher novels! If you consider selling it please let me know. I am so sorry it didn't get chosen for the exhibition. What do THEY know...and P.S. I love Van Gogh! And your paintings make me happy every day!
