Back home at last! Now I have the time to begin playing with some of the ideas I have for paintings. This is from my first evening in London. It had been raining and the streets and pavements were holding soft reflections of all the lights in the shops and buildings. Above it all the sky became a very intense blue before finally succumbing to the night...

That was a long jaunt! It's nice to see family - but it's also nice to sleep in your own bed at night....
There was a programme on television tonight saying that electric blue is the new BIG colour! Electric blue seems to be so right for somewhere like Piccadilly.
That blue is yummy!
