No wonder you are sad. You made a wonderful life in Brittany, helped, of course, by the beauty and liveliness all around you. But you'll do the same again and again, wherever you are. Take care, Sarah, and bon courage.
Sarah, I think you should host a workshop there and we will pay you to take us. Being light deprived here in Alabama today, this is a treat for all senses. Imagine living that life. It would be like a fairy tale. I think your paintings are wonderful and show the joy and relaxed feeling you felt there. I could almost taste the crepes and the gateau. Not to mention the salty seafood. I am happy for you and I will live today vicariously through your memories!
I must be clueless. I didn't realize you already lived in this beautiful place and are now leaving it! Just when I found you! I wanted to ask about a holiday. Perhaps I can email you for some advice at some point. I am double sad for you leaving there, but you take your wonderful talent with you wherever you go and that is something you don't have to say farewell to.
Heart wrenching video...beautiful and so sad you are leaving such a place. I sincerely hope you have something great in front of you. As the last commenter said, you take your art and your memories with you, and that is a huge comfort.
I wish you and yours well; I have so enjoyed your postings this past year in your Brittany; and will continue to log in as you begin your new adventure. Be well, Fras
If you weren't sad to leave this place I'd think you were CRAZY! No wonder Gaugin found such inspiration there. I think you'll be back many times to visit. Paint it out! I love your paintings, too, by the way. Good luck.

I'm crying, too, after watching your father-in-law's video. The sky is crying, too.
