The tide is just on the turn, a little Egret stands motionless. Oystercatchers and Kittiwakes cries echo down the creek, the only sounds to break the silence. The estuary mud lies waiting for the water to return, there is an air of anticipation.

Beautiful colors. It's especially interesting to me because egrets have been roosting near my house for weeks. They're so pretty flying in from all directions.
This is even nicer than the other ones you did of the estuary. I love the addition of the bird - it really gives it scale.
