Falmouth in the distance is blurred by mist, past Pendennis point the Roseland is a smudge of palest blue. Colours play tricks in the water which changes from playful, choppy, tiny waves to a seductive silky surface. We "ready about" and head up the Helford river to Frenchmans creek... but that's another picture!

Just lovely...the colors and the play of the paint. Love the pattern of the strokes. I can feel the ocean breeze. Thanks for posting this...really enjoy your sketchbook postings.
