I am very pleased to say that this painting has been accepted for the Royal Watercolour Society Open Exhibition which opens on Friday and, as luck would have it, I am off to the big city this very weekend and shall see the exhibition for myself.
It is a rocky road this entering for exhibitions caper, one fraught with crushing dissapointment, luckily today I got the result I wanted...off for a celebratory cup of tea!

Congratulations Sarah, really well deserved!
Congrats, Sarah! Bankside Gallery is a nice little place in a great position by the river; that's where the Society of Wood Engravers has it's annual show.
Congratulations - it's lovely. But you're right about the rocky road. Sometimes there seems to be no rhyme or reason for the rejections.
Woo hoo! So happy to hear your news!! It's well deserved!
