Low tide, empty beaches, the sea has soaked up all the blue from the summer, miles of wet sand...bliss!
I took my paints and did some bigger sketching, that is careful sketching with watercolours, it takes longer but is worth it for the peace and relaxation it brings.

This is so beautiful. The shape of the picture makes all the difference in conveying the expanse of the scene. I always find it frustrating when I'm experiencing a breathtaking moment like that, and there is no way to really capture ALL of it with a single piece of artwork. You did that very nicely here, with the longer paper... Good job!
