One Hour Between

March 25 6.20pm  Oil on paper
Got out last night after a long day of illustration, this was pure bliss, like a long cold drink.  A slight mist, two gigs were practising on the river, soft little waves lapping, aah!  Peace, beautiful.  Then I went up and got a drink and sat on the balcony at the sailing club and just caught the nightfall from a slightly different view point.  The first few lights were being switched on and the evening turned from a gentle green to a soft blue.

March 25.  7.20 pm.

I love your night scenes, especially with the small lights of houses. Not many people paint landscapes at night. I admire your energy!
