But, there are more Provence paintings to post up, I just counted them and I did 59 paintings in two weeks! Obviously they are not all successful but the point is, I worked hard. I shall make a Provence page for the top of this blog where they can be browsed in their entirety and post a few up here and over on the Enid Blighton style group blog Four Go Painting in Provence

I just left a comment on 4 Go. I just want to add how much it means to me that you are sharing all of these with us. Not only fun and inspiring, but they show us so much.

welcome home...I kept lingering on your Painting Provence page and enjoyed it so much...I so regret not being there enjoying with you, but it is wonderful seeing what you've done and truly...love them all. Felicitations...you did an extraordinary job in Provence. Well have to go again, this time with our dearests?

I have looked through your series of paintings from a (very busy!) two weeks... the work is very interesting, ranging, as you say, from light sketches to full works in oil. My favorites from you are the sketches, and paintings, that include darker shades, such as your deep, deep blues... they are so strong! Congratulations...
I like Midnight, Summer Solstice - your darks always have life and resonance.
I'm glad I discovered your work through your Enid Blyton adventure. It is very beautiful and I shall now add your blog to my google reader and look forward to seeing more of your work in the future.
